The ‘Munni’ song from Dabangg not only catapulted the popularity of Malaika Arora but also of Zandu balm. Remember the line Main Zandu balm hui darling tere liye. The balm manufacturers, miffed about the use of their brand name in the song, had issued a notice to the Dabangg makers.
Thus Munni aka Malaika came to the rescue of her husband Arbaaz Khan, the producer of the film, and in an out-of-court settlement, the problem got solved. “It was always a win-win situation for both sides. We will have tie-ups with their company. Malaika will be their brand ambassador,” Arbaaz confirms to a tabloid.
Earlier, Malaika has also endorsed Chaini Khaini, a kind of leavened tobacco.
Adman Prahlad Kakkar, who knows both the parties, acted as a mediator and helped in sorting out the issue.
It’s learnt Prahlad will soon direct Malaika in the balm ad. Shall we expect gyrations like Munni’s?
